Emergency crews were called to 617 Anderson Ferry Road for a house fire around 3:38 p.m. on Feb. 4, the Susquehanna Regional Police detailed in a release on Monday.
The address is the home of Donegal Fish & Conservation Association, according to its website. Daily Voice has reached out to the association for a comment on the arson and was sent the following statement:
"This is a non-profit organization. We run a trout nursery program on the property. We do not have a house here. That question would probably be better asked to the landowners or residents of said house."
Daily Voice used public records to attempt to reach out to the owners but have yet to hear back.
A tenant of the address was found with "first and second degree burns and was transported to Lancaster General Hospital and later flown to the Lehigh Burn Center for treatment," the police said.
The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal was called to the scene to investigate.
"The fire was ruled to be intentional," as stated in the police release. The cause has not been determined.
No other injuries were reported.
